The Rideau Centre with over 170 stores has a range of shopping choices from brand-name labels to mid-market options.

Schools and Churches

Downtown Ottawa has many well-known schools including the Centennial Public School, Glashan Public School, Elgin Street Public School as well as an ESL school for adults, GEOS Ottawa.

Churches in the area include the Centretown United Church, Calvary Fellowship of Ottawa, First Church of Christ, and Peace Tower Church.
