Billings Bridge – Heron Park

Located next to the Rideau River, Billings Bridge/Heron Park is a beautiful and mature community south of the city. Developed between 1950 and 1965, the area is evenly balanced with detached and attached homes. Prices range from $300K-$650K for detached single-family houses and from $300K-$400K for attached homes.

The proximity to the Rideau River allows residents to walk, jog, and bike on scenic pathways as well as enjoy the lovely parks situated along the shoreline. The neighbourhood also features sports fields; basketball, tennis and volleyball courts; playgrounds, wading pools, and splash pads for children; and skating rinks and tobogganing hills for Winter fun. An active community association holds a Winter Festival every year, as well as other neighbourhood bonding events, and the local recreation centre offers programs and camps as well as group sports activities.

The neighbourhood is home to the Billings Bridge Shopping Centre which contains 90 stores including a Walmart, grocery store, bookstore, several electronics shops, 3 banks, LCBO, Bulk Barn, pharmacy, beauty salons, post office, a variety of fashion retailers, and many other shops as well as a full food court. There are also numerous restaurants located throughout the area in a variety of cuisines to suit every taste and budget.
